The Lies (Poem)

The feeling called jealousy
The feeling of despair
The way we act and react
The way we show care

The feeling called sorrow
The so called happiness
The loneliness, emptiness
The joy and the stress

All are just feelings which
Don't even exist physically
The false hope holds us on
'n Then suddenly breaks brutally

Life is still incomplete without 'em
On such lies, this much we've relied
While untouched truth remains silent
And keeps waiting to be tried

Is fake all the beauty
The promises are untrue
The lies are infinite
While truths not even few

Have lied all the theories
The facts have gone wrong
Were false all the moments
Even that rhythm and song

The sagas were just myths
From beginnings to the ends
Enemies weren't true enemies
Masks were worn by friends

All the times you heard
And all the times I lied
I always faked the smiles
And even falsely cried

So, what's that we try to hide?
What's being tried to be concealed?
Just protecting our identities? Or,
Covering what nature has revealed?

For what is and what is not?
What's real and what's fake?
Who's hero in this untold epic?
Who's losing for whose sake?

All are just questions
And the answer is none
Are scattered all the stars
And here is no sun

By the verses you're reading
Maybe something's being lied
Yet again, maybe ultimate truth
By a frail lie is being defied...
